Adult Male

Marketers have had to step back and reorient their take on appealing to the adult male demographic. Traditionally, they’ve used sex and humor to get the attention of male audiences. Today, men are more sophisticated than marketers have made them out to be. Adult male consumers respond to humor – but not the kind that shows men to be dull and idiotic. Men like humor that’s witty and wry. Humor, frankness and reality go far with men. Keeping it real and being able to laugh at themselves, without being demeaned or belittled is the key.
