Iron Man

Marvel Entertainment engaged us to develop design assets – badges, borders and step-and-repeat patterns – to be incorporated into the style guide for the first Iron Man movie. We developed these design elements in a diversity of styles inspired by imagery, artwork, set design and the storyline from the movie, reinforcing the cinematic version of Iron Man to fans and collectors alike. However, only a limited amount of visual assets (merely a handful of images of Iron Man in his red and gold suit) were released to us during design development. Our challenge was to “stretch” this imagery into a robust licensing program.
