Ultimate Jordan DVD

When Michael Jordan retired from basketball (the first time), USA Home Entertainment and NBA Video teamed up to produced a 2-disc DVD collector set highlighting his incredible career. We were challenged with developing a package design for this commemorative title that would appeal to the hard-core Michael Jordan fan. We captured Micheal Jordan's seemingly effortless play, to which all basketball fans aspire, through photography of thrilling moments from his career. We used imagery to support Jordan's “ultimate” status in all aspects of the game. A simple, classic title treatment, the Chicago Bulls color palette and silver mylar substrate convey premium and ultimate collectibility.
